Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the platform.

What is Amplis?

Amplis is the AI-native operating system for modern mining. It captures institutional knowledge, codifies operational processes, and automates the work that runs your operation - all on one connected platform.

What makes Amplis different?

Amplis is a platform, not a deck of recommendations. We capture institutional knowledge, codify operational processes, and automate the work that runs your operation. The platform is deployed and tuned by an Amplis Field Engineer embedded in your team, so it adapts to how you actually operate.

What are the three offerings?

Institutional Knowledge - your best people's expertise captured, encoded, and queryable. Operational Processes - reliability, maintenance, and operational work codified as living workflows. Business Automation - the software, data pipelines, and AI agents that execute the work. Three offerings, one operating system.

How does an Amplis Field Engineer fit in?

An Amplis Field Engineer is how the platform gets deployed inside your operation. They wire the platform into your data, run the structured interviews that build the knowledge layer, and build the workflows and integrations on top. The platform compounds as they tune it to your operation.

Do you replace existing systems like our CMMS or ERP?

No. Amplis is designed to run on top of the systems your team already uses. It connects documents, spreadsheets, CMMS, ERP, sensors, and operational systems into one platform layer - without forcing a full system replacement.

How does the institutional-knowledge capture work?

We run structured interviews with your subject matter experts - the people who know why equipment fails, how to prioritise maintenance, what the manuals do not tell you. We extract their decision-making logic and encode it into the platform's knowledge layer. Your team can then query it in natural language, and the layer keeps learning as the operation runs.

How do you measure success?

Every deployment starts with agreed, measurable outcomes - unplanned downtime reduction, schedule compliance, maintenance cost targets, or knowledge-retention metrics. We define these upfront and report against them throughout. If we cannot quantify the improvement, we have not delivered.

How do we get started?

Bring one project, workflow or knowledge problem. We will show you how the platform can turn it into a living system your team can keep using.
